20.05.2005 "20 Years Festival"

One fine 20th of May in 1985, Chris Dews first set foot on the paradise island that Ibiza was, and still is in some ways. After 13 years of travelling the world with the Merchant Navy, he realised he was home.

How many have had that feeling and followed it?

Many indeed, but few in the same way as Chris, who as well as enjoying the fun to be had in Ibiza, has also made it his mission to protect the island and its nature from the thoughtlessness of people who do not see how respecting the world we live in is as important as respecting ourselves and those around us.

The celebration of 20 years in Ibiza (and still standing!) featured singers and musicians from all ages, of course a lovely veggie buffet and healthy drinks, and the visit of many friends old & new who came and celebrate this memorable anniversary at Casita Verde! Cheers!
