Born in Jerusalem, Israel now based in Ibiza, Spain. Yoav Ilan is a composer, pianist and singer songwriter whose debut solo piano album “Intimate Preludes For Piano”was released in 2012. Trained as a jazz pianist, he studied jazz music at the "Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music" and graduated 4 years at the JMA Academy of Music with B.A MUS in the Jazz Department.

For the past 12 years Yoav has performed in live concerts with a large variety of musical groups and projects. From Jazz bands, to Chanson group and traditional Jewish Kleizmer groups, just to name a few.

He tasted and explored the beauty of music on its many colors, mostly inspired by romantic and heart touching music.He collaborated and performed with artists such as: Marina Maximilian Blumin, Lior Shoov, Laor Oman Naharin and Jessica Walker. In addition to giving musical concerts,

This multi-talented artist started to make music when he was 9 years old, touring Europe with a group of musicians performing traditional music from The Andes of South America.

His strongest influence though comes from the devotional and meditative music of India which is naturally linked with his other profession as a yoga teacher.
