Together as One

There is nothing comparable to music for bringing us together. Memories, so vivid as to allow us to recall exactly what we were doing and how we felt, are so often evoked by a song that was sung at that particular place and time. Just hearing that melody brings us back to a moment in the past, defines the present and gives us hope for the future.

The ancient Hermetic tradition says that all is vibration. Modern science now confirms that our universe is a wave function, a frequency, a rhythm of life, resonating within us all. Our world is made of music, both literally and lyrically. Pythagoras once counseled that even stones are frozen music.

Teams have their motivational songs. Nations have their anthems. Cultures crave their unique expression in musical style. Music moves us all to cooperate for the good of the whole.

Aikido master George Leonard once said: “At the root of all power and motion, at the burning center of existence itself, there is music and rhythm, the play of patterned frequencies against the matrix of time… a humanity without music is not just inconceivable; it is impossible.”

As individuals we play the instruments of separate selves in isolation, but in groups of humanity we play our parts in a symphony that produces the harmonic resonance of one state of being. Some sing high, some sing low, and harmony is created in between. Music is the pulse of creation, the emotion of the mind set in action. Music, more than anything we shall ever know, brings us together as one.

The songs compiled on this album were composed for the simple purpose of helping us to join forces with the spirit of Greenheart: showing our love and respect for planet earth and all its inhabitants, living together as one. May it be music to your ears.

Finding a new kind of self esteem

Together as One - Ibiza in times of transition

In these enlightened days, we can imagine that we all need to be the director of our own life movie. We should also remember that we are not only what we eat and what we allow into our bodies and minds, but we are also what we think!

As many of us are becoming ever more aware that these things are very tightly connected, it then becomes obvious that how we do our lives not only depends on what we put into our bodies and minds, but also depends on how we are able to welcome the changes that they bring to our lifestyle choices. A healthy body and mind should support a happy and healthy lifestyle.

We seem to have arrived at the beginning of the 21st century with an enormous challenge ahead, the challenge to nurture our planet and ourselves back to good health and start to live together as one well connected family. As we raise our general awareness towards our presence on planet Earth, we are also understanding more about the relationships between the components of our physical and spiritual world. We are, whether we know it or not, being given the wonderful possibility to live in exactly the kind of world we desire. The solutions to our personal and global problems are everywhere to be seen and all we need to do is to recognise them, allow them to arrive into our lives and collectively incorporate them into our global community organism.

Personally, I have been going through a constant and accelerating awareness process during my entire 26 years in Ibiza and that’s perhaps why I, like so many others living here, just love to be on this island. Ibiza is a place of great inspiration and high quality image: it contains almost all of the possible elements of a perfect haven for the enjoyment of life on Earth. Beautiful countryside, gorgeous beaches, endless forests, clear blue skies and lots of entertaining things to do. There are over one hundred different nationalities living here, plus millions of visitors each year. It is an authentic melting pot of cultures, living together in peace - everyone is celebrating life, or so it seems!  

Ok, so let’s have a transition celebration and make this beautiful Mediterranean island into an example of real transformation - let’s regenerate all the good things here and live a wonderful lifestyle. Let’s drive in electric cars which use changeable batteries charged with renewable energies so it’s no inconvenience to anyone driving around and it’s not using any fossil fuel at all.

Let’s see if we can grow most of our food and natural medicines here using organic methods, then we can really improve our physical and mental health, as well as supporting the self healing process of the soil.
Let’s see if we can help the creative entrepreneurs, artisans, local businessmen, artists and musicians of this island to make their passion a lifestyle choice and not just a hobby.

Let’s have everyone correctly recycling their garbage, taking care of the local environment, being proud of their homes and looking after their gardens. There is work here for everyone and there are rich rewards for everyone too. We only have to look closer at what we have in natural resources, give it a different value and let it shine like the gold that it is. This Ibiza gold that we have, is a living organism, a genie just waiting to escape from the bottle. For sure it’s time to go Back to nature for the answers, it’s also Time to change and Open your heart to your higher self. It’s time to fly onwards and upwards Into the light, ready to enter into the age of Aquarius Together as one being - a planet Earth with a loving human identity.
